Planning a meeting room project?
AV Application designs and integrates meeting room and videoconferencing solutions tailored to the size of your spaces and the way you work.
98-inch displays, Poly videoconferencing and Crestron control
AV Application equipped a large double meeting room for 20 to 40 people. The goal: provide two fully equipped meeting spaces that can operate separately or together, with content readable from every seat, high-quality videoconferencing and simple control for users.
Project challenges
- Ensure content is readable for 20 to 40 participants, including those seated furthest from the screens.
- Enable smooth hybrid meetings, with clear sound for both in-room and remote participants.
- Make content sharing easy, without cables or complex handling.
- Keep the room simple to use day to day, and easy to monitor remotely.
The solution
Two 98-inch professional displays
Each space is equipped with a 98-inch Sharp/NEC professional display, delivering a 216 × 122 cm image. This large format ensures comfortable reading of presentations, spreadsheets and shared documents, without the brightness constraints of projection.
Four repeat screens for distant seats
Four 49-inch repeat monitors (108 × 61 cm image) complement the main displays. They bring content closer to participants seated far from the main screens and ensure comfortable reading along the full length of the room.
Poly videoconferencing in each space
Two Poly X72 series videoconferencing systems enable hybrid meetings in each of the two spaces. Remote participants get a clear view of the room and can interact naturally with those present.
Clear sound, free of echo and feedback
Sound is delivered by ceiling loudspeakers. A digital audio processor handles equalisation, feedback suppression and echo cancellation. The result: clear, intelligible speech in the room and for remote participants.
Wireless sharing and centralised control
Participants share their screen wirelessly, directly from their laptop. The entire system is controlled by a Crestron system with two 10-inch touch panels. Remote network control also allows the IT team to monitor the room and intervene without being on site.
